This site is only one part of a multipart training program. Anyone wanting to become a street medic should do the following steps to complete the ProtestMedic training course. Links to these classes are included in the prerequisite section of the Courses section.

1. Take a CPR class. The class needs to include pediatric, children, adults, and include the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
2. Stop The Bleed.
3. EpiPen use.
4. Narcan use.
5. ProtestMedic online course.
6. Take the ProtestMedic test.
7. Attend a hands on lab provided by your group’s Lead Medic and practice hands on skills.

For any group wanting to use this training material, please see the Lab Exercises provided in the Documents section. It is HIGHLY recommended that experienced medics, preferably with higher level medical training (EMT, Paramedic, RN, Doctor, etc) run new medics through hands on exercises and scenarios to reinforce the prerequisite classes and the online training.
